Assign a CBS Code to a Scope Item

Assign CBS codes to scope items if CBS codes are used in the project to manage costs. All scope assignments inherit the CBS code assigned to the scope item.

Note: After a baseline is set, CBS codes must be added or updated by submitting a change request.

To assign a CBS code to a scope item:

1. In the object selector, select ﱆ Project, select View Projects List, and then select a project name.
2. From the  Main Menu, select  Scope, and then select Scope Items.
3. In the CBS Code column, select a code.
4. Select Save.

Tips

• Rolled up cost and hour values are viewed on the project Cost Sheet and can also be viewed on the Cost Sheet for the workspace.
