Scheduling a Report Video

You can schedule workspace, project, program, or portfolio reports to run at a designated time, either once or on a recurring basis. Scheduled reports are generated automatically at the scheduled date and time and can be delivered to you and other users through email or through a notification in the application. Scheduled reports can also be emailed to users in user groups. A project, program, or portfolio-specific user group or a user group inherited by the project, program, or portfolio from a workspace can be added as recipients to a project, program, or portfolio report. Project, program, or portfolio-specific and inherited user groups can also be added as recipients to a workspace report if the workspace report is being scheduled in the context of a project, program, or portfolio. Users in inherited groups will only receive an email if they were added to the group at the project, program, or portfolio level.

Report schedules are displayed in the Schedule detail window when you select a report on the Report List page. For each schedule, you can view important information, including the name of the user who scheduled the report, the output format, the last run date, and the next scheduled run date. You can also perform certain tasks to manage report schedules, including enabling or disabling, editing, and deleting them. Emailed reports are restricted to 15 MB. If a report exceeds the size limit, an email is sent with instructions to download the report from the application.
