Gantt Curtains Overview
Using Gantt Curtains Video
Gantt curtains are shaded curtains that can be configured and displayed on top of the Gantt chart on the Activities page to visually distinguish time periods that might impact a project or program schedule. These visual distinctions help to assist project planners and schedulers by drawing attention to these periods when they review a project's timeline in the Gantt view. Examples of such time periods can include delays, seasonal periods, and system down times.
Gantt curtains can be customized using various colors, opacity options, and sizes, depending on the needs of your project team. Preview your changes before applying them to the schedule. Move a curtain to another date by dragging and dropping it to another location on the chart without leaving the page.
You can enable Gantt curtains in the Manage Views panel on the Gantt tab. There you can also create multiple curtain styles and manage them as needed. After enabling curtains, you can create them directly from the Activities grid when in the Gantt view.
