News Feeds Overview

News feeds enable you to view the daily activity of the workspaces, projects, and ideas that you are assigned. Using news feeds, you can easily monitor and review projects and ideas.

User Profile News Feed

The User Profile News Feed captures the activity of the applicable user. All users have their own user profiles and news feeds where they can view their own activity.

The User Profile News Feed displays updates for:

• Activity (create, status update, and delete)
• Any users that the user follows
• Discussions (mentions and likes)
• Permissions (grant and revoke)
• Project (create, complete, and delete), as well as the following project updates:
  • Currency (project or workspace)
  • Fields (standard, UDF, configured, settings)
  • Owner name
  • Project relationships (predecessors or successors)
  • UDF create, update, and delete
  • Workspace name
• User Roles

Workspace News Feed

The Workspace News Feed captures activity within the workspace, and displays updates for:

• Ideas
• Projects (added to or removed from the workspace) as well as the following workspace project updates:
  • Activities
  • Currency (project or workspace)
  • Fields (standard, UDF, configured, settings)
  • Owner name
  • Program
  • UDF create, update, and delete
• Permissions (grant and revoke)
• User Roles

Project News Feed

The project news feed captures activity in the project and displays updates for:

• Activities
• Costs
• Fields (standard, UDF, configured, settings)
• Files
• Notebook topics
• Permissions (grant and revoke)
• Program
• Project (create and complete)
• Project name
• Risk updates (Risk Matrix ID, Risk Score)
• Schedule
• Scope
• User roles

Idea News Feed

The Idea News Feed captures the activity within the idea, and displays updates for:

• Permissions (grant and revoke)
• Status
• User Roles
