Configure the Scenario Comparison Page

Configure the Scenario Comparison page to view information that is important during the process of creating and reviewing scenarios.

Choose which fields to view at a scenario summary-level and a project summary-level.

To configure the Scenario Comparison page:

  1. In the object selector, select Portfolio, and then select View Portfolios List.
  2. Select a portfolio name.
  3. From the Main Menu, select Cost and Funds or Resources, and then select Scenario Comparison.
  4. In the context bar, select the planning period menu, and select the planning year, which is either the current year or the subsequent year.
  5. To configure the view at the scenario summary-level (top of page):
    1. In the Show list, select one of the following:
      • All: Displays all scenarios in the portfolio that are not hidden.
      • Budget Scenarios: Displays all budget scenarios in the portfolio that are not hidden.
      • Resource Scenarios: Displays all resource scenarios in the portfolio that are not hidden.
    2. Select the Status list and select to view scenarios of a particular status. For example, you can view all scenarios that are Under Review.
    3. Select the check box next to the scenario name to view the projects included in each scenario at the project summary-level. Hover over a scenario icon to view the scenario type.
    4. Configure additional columns to display.
  6. To configure the view at the project summary-level (bottom of page):
    1. Select Show and select to filter the projects that display.
    2. Configure additional columns to display.

      Note: These configuration steps do not apply to the project dialog box that appears when you select a project name. The project dialog box displays the fields configured at the scenario summary-level at the top of the page.
