Configure Display Format for Codes and Other Objects

Choose how to display identifiers for objects such as workspaces, projects, and codes. Show only the ID to save space, or show both ID and Name to help identify objects. For Codes, selecting Path displays the full code path in the grid.

These settings apply to areas of the application that do not provide their own configuration options. For example, on the Work Plan page in the Tasks app, activities display according to these settings.

To configure the display format for codes and other objects:

1. Navigate to the Preferences page
   1. In the header, select your username.
   2. On the User menu, select Preferences.
2. On the Preferences page, select the Settings tab.
3. In the Display Format section, select Codes or Other Objects.
4. Make a selection from one of the following options:
   • ID only: Select this option to display only the code ID.
   • ID - Name: Select this option to display the code ID and code name.
   • Path (for Codes only): Select this option to display the full code path, or ID values combined with a period. For example, Code1.Code1A.
5. Select Save.

• The code name is a hyperlink that displays more information about the code. For example, select a code on the Activities page grid to view information about the code in the Codes Detail Window.
