Set Default Permissions for Object Creators
When a user creates an object in Primavera Cloud, they have administrator permissions for that object by default. This means they have all rights to modify the object's details or to delete that object regardless of user group or workspace settings. The default applies to any primary object created in projects, programs, portfolios, workspaces, and ideas. If your organization requires a different default, an application administrator can change the default for object creators in Application Settings.
To set default permission for object creators:
- From the
Main Menu, select 
Global Admin. - Select
Application Settings from the list. - In the Default Permission for Object Creators section, select one of the following options:
- Administrator: Select this option to assign administrator privileges to a user for each object they create.
- View Only: Select this option to assign view only privileges to a user for each object they create.
Application administrators can additionally modify privileges for specific objects according to workspace or user group settings.
Note Users with View Only privileges can't propose budgets or review and approve resource or budget scenarios.
- Select Save.
