Delete a Notebook Topic from a Workspace

If a notebook topic is no longer needed, you can delete it from the workspace. You must have the Delete privilege for Notebook Topics to delete a notebook topic from the workspace.

A notebook topic cannot be deleted from the workspace if it is currently assigned to an object within the workspace. You can only delete a notebook topic while in the owning workspace of that notebook topic.

To delete a notebook topic from a workspace:

1. In the object selector, select  Workspace, select View Workspaces List, and then select a workspace name.
2. From the  Main Menu, select  Summary & Settings.
3. On the Summary & Settings page, select Dictionaries, and then select Notebook Topics.
4. Select the  Context menu, then select Delete.
5. Select Yes in the Confirm dialog box.
6. Select Save.

Tips

• Select Used By in the  Context menu to see which workspaces currently have the notebook topic assigned to an object.
• Notebook topics inherited from a parent workspace can only be removed, not deleted, from the notebook topics list.
