Import Spec Sections and Submittals from a MasterFormat PDF

If you have a MasterFormat PDF file, you can import it to Primavera Cloud, which will then scan it for a list of required submittals and corresponding spec sections.

To import a MasterFormat PDF:

1. In the object selector, select ﱆ Project, select View Projects List, and then select a project name.
2. From the  Main Menu, select  Submittals, and then select Submittals.
3. On the Submittals page, select Import , and then select Import Specification Manual by PDF.
4. In the Import Project Specification dialog box, select  Browse, select a file, and then select Next.

   If the app identifies any submittals or spec sections, you will have a chance to review them before using them to populate the Submittals page.
