Add a Change Order to a Change

Although change orders should usually start as potential change orders on change records, you can add a change order directly to a change.

To add a change order to a change:

  1. In the object selector, select Project, select View Projects List, and then select a project name.
  2. From the Main Menu, select Contracts and Commitments, and then select Changes.
  3. On the Changes page, select the change to which you want to add a change order.
  4. Select the Estimates or Change Process tab.
  5. In the Actions menu, select Add Change Order.
  6. In the Add Change Order dialog box, enter information about the change order.
  7. Select Add.
