Add a Line Item to a Contract

Line items represent the work involved in a contract. A line item can represent labor, materials, or anything else that should be listed individually in a contract.

You can add line items to any contract that does not have a Status of Approved or Pending.

To add a line item to a contract:

  1. In the object selector, select Project, select View Projects List, and then select a project name.
  2. From the Main Menu, select Contracts and Commitments, and then select Contracts.
  3. In the table, select the contract to which you want to add the line item.
  4. On the Contract Details page, select the Line Items tab.
  5. In the table, select Add.
  6. In the new line item row, enter information about the line item.
  7. Select Save.
